We’d be very surprised if you haven’t heard of YouTube before. It’s only the most popular video streaming platform on the Internet. You might not expect to find movies for free on YouTube. However, the website often features full-length movies and TV shows. You’ll have more luck looking for older, more obscure titles on the platform. That’s because streaming rights for these shows have largely expired, making them fair game. Shows like The FBI Files have entire seasons available in various playlists on YouTube. Content on Spacemov is clearly labeled by resolution quality, and since ads are minimal, you can stream almost immediately. You can also access trailers, where available, for each movie. This website has a range of TV series to binge! When we tested this website, it took around ten seconds to load the page and start a movie. You may see floating ad text on-screen when you first launch a stream but don’t worry as it disappears in a few seconds, allowing you to watch your free movies.

Yify TV has a substantial library and a very simple interface. It also has subtitles available, which makes it a good entry on our best free movie sites list. Other than that, however, it’s an ad-filled mess. When we opened Yify TV, we were met with banner ads and pop-up ads. The pop-up ads reappeared after being closed when we loaded a stream. There were then embedded ads within the video feed. We also found the majority of ads to be pornographic in nature or related to gambling. People usually steer towards Yify when the title they’re looking for isn’t available anywhere else. Given the high ad intrusion, we can understand why. Besides exclusive movies or free TV shows, there’s little incentive to choose Yify TV over an alternative.
20. GoStream: A great option to watch the latest hits in 720p
GoStream offers free movie and TV show content at a decent quality and has a pretty comprehensive library. It used to be that GoStream only specialized in movies, but TV shows are now available. We found some of the latest releases, including The Flash.
What we didn’t like about GoStream was the kind of adverts that the site uses. When we tried to play a TV show, a new tab opened, which asked us to verify that we weren’t a robot by clicking “Allow.” This would’ve enabled spammy desktop notifications.
Worse, it wasn’t even GoStream that was asking us to do this. It was an unrelated advert, which could pave the way for potential malware infections if you interact with a malicious ad.
